Solar Panel Relief

I have been a practicing trial attorney since 1993.  Much of that work has been in the area of family law.  I have been involved in almost a thousand family law cases, including both property and custody disputes.  I have seen the ugliest of what two people who were once madly in love can do to each other. Experience has taught me that the bitter, acrimonious divorce may feel good at first, but is hugely damaging in the long run. That is why I try to be wise about the battles we fight, as well as the time we might compromise. Knowing where that fight/don’t fight line is very difficult. I have had years of experience figuring that out. And, far more often than not, we get it right. All I can say for certain is that I will do my best to guide you through the process in a compassionate and efficient manner.

I have extensive experience in handling all aspects of divorce, including child custody, spousal support, and the division and characterization of property. I also have a wide range of experience in other family law matters, including adoption, paternity, child support, and modifications. At my firm, we understand the sensitive nature of these issues, and we are committed to providing compassionate and effective legal solutions for every client.

Family Law

In addition to family law, I have spent the last 28 years in commercial litigation and have learned to manage its challenges and complexities. Most of my clients are small to medium sized business that are most often still run by the founder or their family. Perhaps even more so than in family law, there needs to be a healthy and ongoing evaluation of the risk versus reward paradigm. In many instances, the dispute quickly becomes more about the attorney’s fees than the original dispute. I can help you evaluate those decisions and assist you in making the right decisions for you, your family, and your business.

I am experienced in various aspects of commercial litigation, including breach of contract, partnership and shareholder disputes, fraud, and both defending against and enforcing non-compete/non-disclosure agreements. I will work diligently to protect your interests, while always looking for the path that will achieve the best possible outcome for your case.

Commercial Litigation

Mediation is a process in which a neutral third party (the mediator) helps two or more parties reach a mutually acceptable resolution to their dispute. Unlike traditional litigation, mediation is non-adversarial and focuses on finding a solution that works for everyone involved. It's a voluntary process, and the parties involved have more control over the outcome.

I understand that legal disputes can be emotionally draining and financially costly. That's why we offer mediation services as an alternative to traditional litigation. I have been a credentialed mediator since 1997. In the last twenty six years, I have regularly mediated federal and state commercial disputes. In addition, I have been credentialed in family law mediation for more than a decade. In the hundreds of cases that I have mediated, I have only failed to settle less than 5%. That is, I get the case settled more than 95% of the time.

If you have a commercial of family dispute, please do not hesitate to call. I am committed to providing a safe, confidential, and respectful environment for all parties involved.
